“What are you doing?” He asked. Sandy looked up, her brown eyes clashing with his own, judgemental pupils.
“What?” She mocked, eyes squinting at his stupid question.
“I think you know what I’m talking about.” Yes, she had made a giant duvet fort with pillows as walls. And yes, her dog had joined her. His floppy ears hanging out the makeshift window, acting as golden curtains.
“I know nothing.” He smirked, walking closer to her home with purpose.
“What are you going to do?” She asked, his tall shadow blocking her only escape. There was no way she was giving up her warm den, it had taken too long to build.
“The only thing I can do.” Within minutes, he had managed to squeeze in.
“You are taking up all the room.”
“Well, you should have made it bigger.”
