Silhouted by the glow of the drowing sun

She stood at the precipice, her body silhouetted by the slight glow of the drowning sun. Sea salt sprayed at her skin, itching for her to jump. The wind sang, bringing tales of wonder from lands across the vast abyss. It could all be hers, she only had to –

“DON’T JUMP!” Sam screamed, pulling her body back from the oceans soft whisper.

“What on earth are you doing?” She spits, anger darkening her features.

“I thought… you looked like you were going to…” She turned back to the sea, wishing she could give in and accept it’s song. But, the pull of Sam’s fingers stole her from the magic of the water.
