She bears the world for you

She supports you.
Hands twisting in the air,
Finger pulsating
As the world tries to tear.

She supports you.
Arms stretched so thin,
They now resemble roots
But were once skin.

She supports you.
Teeth grinding with pain,
Her energy depleting
Colour so clear you can see her veins.

She supports you.
Dampness wetting her cheeks,
Muscles twitching she holds the world for you
Until her final squeak.

Roots
