A child frozen amongst snowflakes

Little cold hands tucked away.
Breath escaping in giant puffs,
Cheeks swell up tinted pink
As she lets out a huff.

Little cold hands tucked away.
Icicles forming against eyelashes,
Blinking like shutters
Her world folds into flashes.

Little cold hands tucked away.
Snowflakes melt upon her skin,
Giggles escaping
She begins to spin.

Little cold hands tucked away.
Body shakes protesting the chill,
Her mother lovingly pulls her along
Child and daughter caught up in the winter thrill.
