Suffocated by the sea

Wind.
Currents pulling her long hair,
Strands gathering
Into the salted air.

Sea.
Waves rocking the supposedly sturdy boat,
Water splashing the deck
As if to gloat.

Trip.
A mistimed step against drenched wood,
Echo of yells
Where she no longer stood.

Freeze.
A frozen moment where she floats above the wave,
Seafoam kissing her cheeks
Until drenched, she becomes the seas slave.
